Who We Are
Protecting the possibility of a future family for those facing cancer is why the Fertility Preservation Foundation was created. This is our purpose and why we serve in our community.
So many couples and their families have been impacted by cancer. With the incredible advancements in cancer treatment, more and more patients are living healthy and long lives. Now more than ever, creating a place to protect the possibility of having a family is essential and within our reach.
Through the Fertility Preservation Foundation, we seek to make fertility preservation available to more families affected with cancer regardless of their income. This vision for our future is embedded in our belief that having a family is one of the most wonderful and beautiful parts of being human.
Through your support of the Fertility Preservation Foundation, resources are made available to financially deserving couples so that they can secure their ability to have a family after their cancer treatment plan has been completed.
With your support, you are able to share in their dream of having a family. Please join us in helping more couples experience the joy of having a family.
Because patients want to begin cancer treatment right away, receiving a grant from the Fertility Preservation Foundation happens very quickly. We assess the applicants’ financial need immediately, following closely the national and well-recognized Livestrong Foundation criteria. Our funding provides valuable assistance with the patient’s pre-procedure prescriptions, specimen collection, preservation, and storage.
The costs of fertility preservation can be well over $10,000 per patient. Because we seek to help as many couples as possible, the size of our grants range in size up to $5,000.
